I started with my diet about 2 months ago, weighing in at 328 lbs. 1st thing I did is by cutting all sugars out, all soda pops and all I drink now is Green tea, water and black coffee.
My wife and I started eating right, we cut out most starches and only eat bread once a week with our “cheat meal”. So Far I am down to 289 lbs. We joined the YMCA in town and go there 4 times a week at 5am in the morning. Walking on the treadmill and exercise machines 3 days and Spin class 2 to 3 times a week.
I just got my new bike and ride every day after work, for 20 miles for now, will increase mileage as time goes on. I will be updating my blog every week to update my road to achieve my goal and ride The tour Across America for a Cure from Seattle, WA to Washington, DC in 2012.

3. Ride the MS 150 – 2011
4. Ride the B.A.K ( Bike Across Kansas) – 2011
5. Ride the Ragbrai in Iowa – 2011
Do as many other rides as possible, eat right and get my weight down to 165 lbs.
